Lighting Translation: Disruptive Lamp
Inspired by the Calophysus Macropterus, this table lamp includes a series of octogons that make up the scoffolding of the lamp shade. When illuminated, the apertures in the inner lamp shade disrupt the light in different ways as the user intuitively rotates the inner shade within the larger frame. The diffusion of the light in different ways allows the user to get the exact amount of light they desire weather they are reading a book, eating a meal, or winding down before bed.
